Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of editing experience in a print or digital newsroom.
• Exceptional writing, copyediting, and proofreading skills with fluency in AP style.
• Strong news judgment and knowledge of U.S. progressive politics and current affairs.

Responsibilities

• Edit stories for tone, structure, grammar, syntax, punctuation, and style.
• Verify information and uphold journalistic integrity for factual accuracy and guidelines.
