Responsibilities

• Clean patients' teeth and apply fluoride as permitted by credentials.
• Perform expanded-duty functions within credential scope.
• Take digital radiographs (bitewings and panoramics).
• Provide oral hygiene and diet education to children and parents.
• Schedule follow-up exams and help keep the day’s schedule organized.
• Prepare and turn over operatories and treatment areas.
• Support parent consultations and treatment plan discussions.
• Sterilize instruments; restock treatment rooms.
• Follow infection-control procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Support marketing, community outreach, and referral communications.
