Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Tech to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular exams under physician supervision at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with staff, physician offices, other caregivers, and patients.
• Prepare for exams by following patient identification processes and educating patient and family on procedure; transport patient.
• Perform ultrasound exams per related protocols in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while achieving quality outcomes.
• Document exam results and other needed information; apply charge codes.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and procedural technique.
• Support quality improvement processes and educational opportunities.
