Job summary

The University of the District of Columbia is seeking enthusiastic and qualified adjunct instructors to teach Child Development Associate (CDA) hours as CDA I and II.

Incumbents must teach all assigned courses, prepare syllabi and lesson plans, deliver engaging content, and use the university LMS to post materials and communicate with students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in subject matter area.
• Prior teaching experience or evidence of teaching potential or corporate/industry training.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses as specified in the schedule and course contract.
• Prepare course materials and lesson plans; deliver curriculum.
• Provide an approved syllabus with objectives, outcomes, and evaluation criteria.
• Use LMS to post syllabi and communicate with students.
• Maintain enrollment, attendance, and grade records; submit rosters and grade sheets.
