Job summary

Center for Human Services in Sedalia, MO is seeking a part-time Support Teacher at the Dawn Compton Early Learning Center to help implement developmentally appropriate activities that support children's growth and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication and basic computer skills. Ongoing compliance with MO licensing standards and EHS Performance Standards is expected, and CPR/First Aid certification will be maintained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate activities supporting children’s social, physical, cognitive, ATL and language development.
• Follow MO Childcare Licensing Standards and EHS Performance Standards.
• Maintain Infant Toddler CPR and First Aid certification and prepare materials/classrooms for early care and learning; assist with coverage.
• Follow regulatory requirements from CHS, Licensing, Sanitation, USDA CACFP and EHS.
• Responsible for cleanliness and food preparation procedures in assigned area.
• Promote a positive Safety Culture by following safe practices and policies.
• Support evening meetings and events as assigned by supervisor.
