Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska’s Educare Winnebago site is seeking a part-time Teacher Aide to support early childhood education in a Head Start program.

Responsibilities include assisting in lesson planning, supervising children, maintaining a safe classroom, and communicating with families. Requires High School diploma or GED, and ability to obtain a CDA within one year. This is a non-benefits-eligible role with up to 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Winnebago Tribe’s core mission, vision, and values.
• Ability to interact physically with children and assist in maintaining a safe, clean classroom.
• Maintain a safe, healthy classroom environment and assist with paperwork as needed.
• Assist in planning developmentally appropriate activities and documentation panels.
• Communicate with parents regularly and participate in staff meetings and training.
