Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or the equivalent with coursework in child development leading to a CDA preferred.
• Experience: Preferred work experience in a childcare or related setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom staff in planning and carrying out individualized instruction and activities.
• Support health, safety, and developmentally appropriate practices in the classroom.
• Assist with documentation related to meals, attendance, and daily observations.
• Engage with children during meals and transitions, promoting positive behavior and self-help skills.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom equipment and supplies.

Education

High school diploma / GED / equivalent with CDA coursework
