Job summary

Southeast Community College in Lincoln, NE, is seeking a Part-Time Aide for the Child Development Center. You will support the Group Supervisor in planning and delivering developmentally appropriate activities for children in the program.

The role involves assisting with classroom routines, supervision during meals and outdoor play, and helping maintain a safe, clean learning environment. Normal schedule is approximately 29 hours per week, with pay at $15.53 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist and cooperate with Group Supervisor in planning and carrying out educational programs and activities for enrolled children.
• Assist the children in classroom, halls, lunchroom, play areas, and on field trips.
• Keep the classroom and other rooms clean and organized; help maintain overall appearance.
• Ensure the child/teacher ratio is met in assigned areas.
• Provide progress input to Group Supervisors or lab Instructor during conferences.
• Collaborate with center staff and instructors to support a quality program.
