Job summary

Goodwill of Lorain County is seeking an E-Commerce Shipping Associate (Part-Time) in Elyria, OH. You will prepare, package, and ship items sold on shopgoodwill.com, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality while supporting the E-Commerce Manager and team.

Responsibilities include weighing items, printing labels, updating order statuses, and maintaining a clean, organized shipping area. A High School Diploma is required, with prior shipping or fulfilment experience preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pull sold merchandise from inventory shelving with 100% accuracy.
• Examine items for quality and condition prior to packaging.
• Package merchandise securely and efficiently to avoid damage during transit.
• Weigh items to determine proper shipping costs and carrier requirements.
• Print accurate shipping label(s) and apply to packages.
• Update order status and shipping details on ecommerce platforms.
• Load packages into carts and transport to delivery area.
• Assist with shipment of unsold merchandise to retail locations.
• Maintain shipping workstation clean, organized, and stocked.
• Demonstrate urgency to meet performance metrics.
• Report discrepancies to E-Commerce Manager to support inventory accuracy.
• Assist in maintaining ecommerce shipping supply inventory.
• Demonstrate good time management and multitasking skills.
• Follow safety protocols and attend monthly safety meetings.
• Work cooperatively with team members and adhere to policies.
• Demonstrate flexibility to assist in other duties as needed.
• Promote internal and external customer service.
• Report equipment malfunctions to E-Commerce Manager promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.
