Job summary

American Dream is hiring an E-commerce & Inventory Specialist (Part Time) in East Rutherford, NJ to maintain accurate warehouse records and support shipment planning. You will handle stock checks, data entry, price tagging, and organize items by destination while following safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, planogram understanding, discrepancy resolution, and assisting with box opening and product rotation to prevent expiration.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years retail experience.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly with Retail team members.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Retail/merchandising knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy in completion of all warehouse activities from staffing for shipment days to ensuring accuracy of documents received and entered the computer system.
• Communicate and verify all discrepancies.
• Quality control (checking for damaged product).
• Assist staff with opening boxes and organizing product by location.
• Count product and fill out paperwork for second stage receiving.
• Apply price tags to all products.
• Bin product in proper locations in the distribution center.
• Rotate stock to prevent expiration.
• Re-organize items to accommodate new shipments and prioritize as needed.
• Perform inventories and cycle counts.
• Deliver product to correct locations throughout the ERC.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain warehouse cleanliness.
• Understand planograms for design/layout.
