Qualifications

• Professional driving experience preferred.
• 18 years of age or older.
• A valid state-issued driver’s license.
• A desire to assist individuals with disabilities and support personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the vehicle from homes or loading area to destinations according to schedule.
• Secure passengers’ wheelchairs to restraining devices during trips.
• Ensure all passengers wear seatbelts and safety is maintained.
• Operate cellular phone to communicate with base or other vehicles as needed.
• Keep records of trips and passenger behavior.
• Clean and service the vehicle with fuel, lubricants and accessories.
• Participate in organizational or departmental committees and meetings.
• Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
