Job summary

St. Coletta of Wisconsin is looking for a Part Time Driver in Jefferson, WI to support transportation for individuals served in our program. The role covers Jefferson and surrounding areas, with a starting pay of $17.00 per hour.

You will help ensure the highest quality of life and personal growth for those served. The driver will safely transport individuals, secure wheelchairs, enforce seatbelt usage, document trips, and maintain the vehicle.

Qualifications

• Professional driving experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• A valid state-issued driver’s license with a driving record meeting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives vehicle from homes or central loading area to destination according to schedule.
• Secures passengers’ wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trips.
• Ensures all passengers wear seatbelts and maintains passenger safety during transport.
• Safely operates cellular phone to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruptions.
• Keeps records of trips and behavior of passengers.
• Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Participates in organizational or departmental committees and meetings as appropriate.
• Adheres to all St. Coletta organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
