St. Coletta of Wisconsin in Jefferson, WI is seeking a Part-Time Driver to support our Jefferson programs. You will transport individuals served to destinations according to schedule and ensure safety and mobility.

The role requires a valid driver's license, at least 18 years old, and a commitment to helping people with developmental disabilities. Training is provided and safety policies must be followed.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with opportunities for additional shifts as needed.

Formación

• Professional driving experience preferred, 18 years of age or older.
• A valid state-issued driver’s license with a driving record that meets our requirements.
• A desire to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and other challenges in their personal growth.
• Successfully complete all required training within 60 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Safely drives vehicle from homes to destination according to schedule.
• Secures passengers’ wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
• Ensures that all passengers wear seatbelts and safety while transported.
• Operates cellular phone to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
• Keeps records of trips and behavior of passengers.
• Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Participates in organizational or departmental committees and meetings as appropriate.
• Adheres to all St. Coletta organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
