Job summary

Recovery Works Healing Center in Dayton, OH seeks a reliable part-time Driver to transport residents to clinical services, employment, and activities. You will follow safety protocols, maintain vehicle readiness, and support a trauma-informed environment.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, a clean Ohio license, CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. This onsite role reports to the Director of Operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with clean driving record.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or ability to obtain within timeframe.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Basic understanding of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely transportation for residents to clinical services, employment, appointments and activities.
• Conduct routine vehicle safety checks and report maintenance promptly.
• Follow all traffic laws, policies and safety protocols.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness for transport.
• Interact with residents in a respectful, trauma-informed manner.
• Uphold professional boundaries and program policies during transport.
• Monitor safety or behavioral concerns during transport and report to supervisors.
• Accurately track mileage, trip logs, and required transportation documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information in line with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
