Job summary

The State of Oklahoma is seeking a part-time Driver’s License Examiner in Durant to conduct driver’s license interviews, examinations, and inspections in compliance with state and federal regulations. This role requires administering tests and issuing or denying driving privileges or state IDs at designated locations.

Applicants should be prepared to work up to 24 hours per week, may include Saturdays, and have a valid Oklahoma driver license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or four years of technical clerical/office work or an equivalent combination.
• Typing at least 50 wpm with minimal errors.
• Prior customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview applicants to determine license or ID requirements.
• Administer vision, written, pre-trip and skills tests as appropriate.
• Review documents for authenticity and eligibility.
• Maintain confidential driver’s license records and respond to inquiries.
