North Georgia Technical College is seeking a Driver’s Education Instructor to join as a part-time role across all campuses. The instructor delivers state-approved classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction, adhering to Joshua’s Law, and promotes safe driving practices in alignment with Georgia traffic laws.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, an associate degree preferred, at least ten years of driving history with a clean MVR, and eligibility for the required Driver

Formación

• Associate’s degree from an accredited institution
• Seven (7) years of work experience
• Must have held a valid driver’s license for a minimum of ten (10) years
• Clear Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• Ability to pass DOT physical, pre-employment and random drug testing, and complete a state-approved Driver Education Instructor Qualification course and pass all required examinations

Responsabilidades

• Teach state-approved driver education classroom courses using Joshua’s Law-compliant materials.
• Provide one-on-one behind-the-wheel instruction in an approved driver education vehicle.
• Instruct students on vehicle operation, defensive driving, and traffic laws.
• Maintain a safe, positive learning environment and professional conduct.
• Evaluate student performance and maintain required records.
