Qualifications

• Must obtain DDS Certification within 30 days of employment and pass background checks.
• Valid Georgia driver's license with satisfactory MVR history.
• Must become a certified Driver Training Instructor (DDS) after training.
• Preferred: 21+ years old with 3+ years driving and teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' driving skills, knowledge and progress and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve student outcomes and curriculum.
• Coordinate the driver education program components, materials, and scheduling.
• Instruct students in car control, defensive driving, emergencies, and Joshua's Law requirements.
• Maintain safe classroom and driving environments and manage student behavior.
• Prepare teaching materials, records, and progress reports for reporting purposes.
