Job summary

ChicagoCAC is hiring a part-time Driver in Chicago, IL. The role focuses on transporting clients, staff, and materials safely and on schedule while maintaining a professional, welcoming reception presence.

Responsibilities include coordinating with reception, supporting events, and handling security desk duties when required. A high school diploma and clean driving record are expected; bilingual Spanish is preferred to assist diverse families.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational requirement of high school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent teamwork and communications skills
• Proficiency in e-mail and Internet usage
• Bilingual Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Transport clients, staff, partners, and items to and from ChicagoCAC and other locations
• Operate vehicles safely and in compliance with traffic laws
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and routine maintenance
• Accurately track time per assignment in the ETO system
• Provide Reception/Security desk coverage on weekends as needed
• Receive visitors and answer switchboard professionally, directing calls accordingly
• Communicate fluently in Spanish and translate as needed
