Devereux Pocono Center is seeking a part-time Driver to provide safe transportation for adults with developmental disabilities. Hours vary from 15 to 30 per week; starting pay is $18.00–$20.52 per hour, with PayActiv availability.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, two+ years of driving experience, and a PA driver’s license with a clean record. Responsibilities include safe transport, occasional courier duties, and participation in training programs.

• Good documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and appropriate transportation for Devereux Pocono Center residents.
• Supervise residents and meet their needs when professional accompaniment is not required.
• Assist Coordinator in vehicle maintenance.
• Perform safety inspections on assigned vehicles and keep them clean inside and out.
• Respond to emergency situations as necessary.
• Serve as courier when needed.
• Attend in-service training to develop skills in dealing with residents.
