Job summary

Abound Health is seeking a compassionate Driver's Aide / Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with IDD during transportation and community activities in Greenville, Mercer, Hermitage, and Sharon, PA. The role includes driving on selected routes and providing person-centered support throughout the day.

The position offers part-time hours with a starting pay of $16.50/hr, weekly pay, paid onboarding and training, and eligibility for benefits based on hours worked, with

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Requires valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to pass background, driving, and healthcare registry checks.
• CPR/First Aid preferred; training provided on hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals during transportation to home, day programs, appointments, and activities.
• Safely operate vehicle for assigned routes.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles.
• Monitor safety, comfort, and wellbeing during transit.
