Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a part-time driver based out of our Newnan, GA office to deliver and set up mobile dental and medical services for military members. The role supports on-site operations, ensures timely arrivals, and maintains fleet safety.

Responsibilities include coordinating with site teams, maintaining supplies, and providing excellent customer service while adhering to DOT requirements and safety policies. This is a great option for extra cash and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma.
• 1 year of experience in transportation.
• 2 years of verified tractor trailer experience preferred.
• RV driving experience and hydraulics are a plus.
• Ability to solve problems by applying basic knowledge and performing independent research.
• Positive attitude, self-motivation, organization, and teamwork.
• Ability to prioritize duties under competing priorities.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Provide or pass DOT Medical Card.
• Accident-free driving record for the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Follow schedules in making sure that mobile practices and portable assets arrive at destination on time.
• Work with site team to ensure that the mobile practice is properly outfitted with all necessary supplies.
• May interact with vendors, employees, independent contractors, clients and possibly patients.
• Able to take direction from many different people and be willing to assist with additional work as necessary, to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
• Operate the company’s vehicles in a safe manner at all times.
• Execute regularly scheduled preventative maintenance for company fleet and other assets under direction of logistics team; report any problems to proper parties as soon as possible.
• Ensure proper record keeping of all records related to company fleet, reporting to Asset Managers as required.
• Represent the company professionally at all times

Requirements

• Education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma
• One (1) year of experience working in transportation
• Two (2) years of verified tractor trailer experience is preferred
• Experience with driving RV’s and having some experience with hydraulics are a plus
• Ability to solve problems by applying basic knowledge and performing independent research as applicable
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, self-motivation, organization, and resourcefulness while maintaining a reputation through proven action of being team oriented and willing to assist where/when needed
• Ability to prioritize duties under competing priorities
• Proven skills with mechanical and electrical systems troubleshooting
• Provide or pass a Medical exam for DOT Medical Card
• Accident-free driving record for the past three (3) years
