Job summary

U.S. Upfitters, a division of Driverge Vehicle Innovations, Brookfield, WI, is seeking a Mechanical Installer to mount shelving, racks and truck accessories. You will assemble products prior to install, maintain a clean and safe work area, and adhere to safety and quality standards.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training a plus; experience with hand, power and pneumatic tools; background check passed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; vocational training is a plus.
• ASE certification is beneficial but not required.
• Experience with hand, power and pneumatic tools is preferred.
• Candidates must pass a criminal and motor vehicle background check.

Responsibilities

• Install shelving, ladder racks, truck boxes and other work truck accessories.
• Assemble products prior to installation according to work orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work bay.
• Follow safety and quality control production standards.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

What you get to accomplish:

• Installation of shelving, truck ladder racks, truck boxes, and other work truck accessories
• Assemble all product prior to install, per the individual work order
• Maintain a clean, safe and well-organized work bay to facilitate efficient installations
• Adhere to established safety and quality control production standards
• Complete other duties as assigned.

What you should have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Vocational school a plus
• ASE Certification is a plus
• Previous mechanical work experience using hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools
• Candidates must successfully complete criminal and submit to a motor vehicle background check
