Job summary

The Town of Pendleton is seeking a part-time Main Street & Downtown Engagement Coordinator to support the Downtown Revitalization program through events, promotions, volunteer coordination, and community engagement.

Under the supervision of the Community Engagement Manager, you will collaborate with downtown merchants, property owners, volunteers, and local partners to strengthen Pendleton's historic downtown and expand outreach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred coursework or experience in public relations, communications, marketing, event planning or a related field.
• Experience in event coordination, social media management, or community outreach is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate downtown revitalization activities and promotional campaigns.
• Recruit, organize, and support volunteers serving on Main Street committees.
• Assist with business recruitment, retention, and promotions.
• Develop and manage online content, social media, and marketing materials.
• Prepare reports and maintain records for Main Street activities.
