Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of Indiana (LSSI) is seeking a Part Time Donor Development Coordinator to strengthen donor relationships and engagement, work closely with leadership, and grow philanthropic support for mission-centered services in Fort Wayne, IN.

The role focuses on donor cultivation, stewardship, and fundraising initiatives, with collaboration across a small fundraising team and leadership to meet annual goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (Business/Marketing/Communications/Nonprofit Management or related).
• 3–5 years in donor relations, fundraising, or related field preferred.
• Experience with donor databases/CRM; Raiser's Edge or DonorPerfect preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Knowledge of Lutheran church structures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of donors through cultivation, solicitation, stewardship and relationship management.
• Develop donor engagement plans to strengthen loyalty and align communication with donor interests.
• Provide high-level donor service and responsiveness to donors, sponsors, volunteers and stakeholders.
• Assist leadership and fundraisers in planning stewardship and engagement activities for donor portfolios.
• Identify major gift opportunities and strategies to grow individual giving and overall fundraising results.
• Collaborate with Director of Marketing & Communications and CEO to set fundraising goals and donor-focused messaging.
• Define and manage donor giving levels, recognition programs, and planned-giving opportunities.
• Support culture of philanthropy and expand donor relationships and prospects.
• Participate in donor cultivation, stewardship, and fundraising events.
