Job summary

The Salvation Army Southwest Division in Great Falls, MT, is hiring a Part Time - 25 Hours Per Week Warehouse Worker to support daily warehouse operations and related social services tasks. This role reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and involves assisting with donations, food processing, and outreach activities.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, preparing food boxes, documenting gifts, and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required for employment.
• Complete Protecting the Mission child safety training.
• Obtain ServSafe Food Safety Certification.
• Forklift operation certification required.
• Must have a valid Montana driver's license (21+).
• Complete Salvation Army Driver’s Safety Course and MVR Check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily donation pickups and processing.
• Help receive and process food per directions from supervisor.
• Maintain adequate stores of perishable and non-perishable foods and supplies with reports.
• Assist with food box preparation, rotation and distribution.
• Document Gift-In-Kind donations accurately and timely.
• Coordinate and receive deliveries, ensuring safety requirements.
• Keep warehouse and exterior clean and organized.
• Maintain client reception areas and general spaces clean.
• Operate equipment such as a pallet jack, forklift, and large box truck.
• Train and supervise volunteers and community service workers.
• Support home visits and community outreach events and distributions.
• Prepare and submit reports and statistics with supervisor.
