Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a part-time donor services associate in Minneapolis to greet donors, process donations, and keep the donation area organized. You will load and unload trucks, perform power sorting where needed, and support production with care for donated materials.

Strong English communication and basic computer skills are required, with a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings. A pre-employment background check is also expected.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and offer assistance, delivering exceptional donor service.
• Process and track donations accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized donation area.
• Sort, load, and unload Salvation Army trucks per center policy.
• Power sort donations as they arrive where applicable.
• Support production processes as needed.
• Safeguard donated materials and assigned equipment.
• Report any complaints, damage, or injuries in the donation area.
• Guide donors on acceptable materials and provide pickup information for heavy items.
• Ensure accurate donation tracking and receipting.
