Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Security Clearance in Waynesboro, VA. You will monitor and patrol aerospace/defense locations, maintain a visible security presence, and support access control while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as per policy.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity and security concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
