Dayton Freight Lines in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a part-time Dock Worker to load and unload freight from 4:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Pay begins at $23.95 per hour, with a safe, claims-free workflow and a professional, people-centered environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age
• Basic math skills
• Fluent in English
• Able to pass a drug screen
• Legally eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight in a productive, safe and claims-free manner
• Complete pre and post trip inspections on all dock equipment
• Document all freight control processes
• Participate in Dayton Freight’s training and improvement programs
• Be available for irregular work schedules, alternating shifts and/or assignments
• Adhere to the Dayton Freight Driver/Dockworker Manual procedures
