Dayton Freight Lines in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a part-time Dock Worker for early morning shifts (Tue-Sat, 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM) to load and unload freight safely and efficiently. Candidates must be at least 18, have basic math skills, be fluent in English and able to pass a drug screen;

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight in a productive, safe and claims-free manner.
• Complete pre and post trip inspections on all dock equipment.
• Properly document all freight control processes.
• Participate in Dayton Freight’s training and improvement programs.
• Be available for irregular work schedules, alternating work shifts and/or assignments.
• Adhere to the Dayton Freight Driver/Dockworker Manual.
