Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking a Part Time Dock Worker to load and unload freight safely and efficiently in a productive, claims-free manner. The role offers flexible evenings (Mon-Fri, 5:00 PM–10:00 PM) with modern facilities and a stable, people-centered environment.

Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, documenting freight control processes, and participating in training programs. Requirements: 18+, basic math, fluent English, ability to pass a drug screen; pay starts at

Qualifications

• 18 years of age.
• Basic math skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Able to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight in a productive, safe and claims-free manner.
• Complete pre and post trip inspections on all dock equipment.
• Properly document all freight control processes.
• Participate in Dayton Freight’s training and improvement programs.
• Be available for irregular work schedules, alternating shifts and/or assignments.
• Adhere to the Dayton Freight Driver/Dockworker Manual.
