Job summary

The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in Virginia is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Technician at the Stafford Customer Service Center. This wage position emphasizes service, accuracy, and compliance with DMV procedures.

You will communicate policies, issue IDs, process applications, and administer tests as part of a team, with training provided. The role is limited to 1,500 hours per year and is not eligible for state benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using a personal computer or other automated systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience working on a team.
• Flexibility to work M-F and Saturday.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Must have attention to detail and complete assignments on time.
• Must have a driving record with less than six demerit points and no major convictions.
