Pima Medical Institute in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a part-time Diagnostic Medical Sonography Instructor to teach and mentor students in a multi‑specialty program. The role supports morning or afternoon shifts and requires RDMS with multi-registry eligibility.

Successful candidates will deliver hands‑on demonstrations, maintain course materials, and engage with local imaging centers to coordinate externships and guest lectures. This is an on-site, part-time faculty position with ESOP benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three years of occupational experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist.
• Active RDMS registration from ARDMS; must hold at least two of the following registries.
• Current license or credential as required by local/state regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and demonstrations for classroom and lab instruction.
• Develop and implement daily lesson plans aligned with program objectives.
• Coordinate guest speakers, field trips, and visits to imaging centers and clinics.
• Demonstrate lab procedures, supervise scanning labs, and mentor students.
