Job summary

Out of Court Solutions Inc is seeking a compassionate Part-time Divorce Mediator to join our Scottsdale, AZ team. This role focuses on resolving disputes outside the courtroom, guiding asset division, debts, and parenting issues with neutrality and sensitivity.

Candidates with prior divorce mediation experience and Arizona-certified mediation training are preferred. Flexible work-from-home options are available, enabling a balanced schedule and meaningful client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Prior mediation experience preferred
• Formal mediation training or certification required (e.g., Arizona Supreme Court certified mediator)
• Background in family law, social work, psychology, or related field is a plus
• Strong listening, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to remain neutral and composed in high-emotion situations
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills
• Familiarity with Arizona family law statutes preferred

• Facilitate neutral, structured mediation sessions between divorcing parties
• Guide clients through negotiation of asset division, allocation of debts, and any child custody, spousal support, and parenting issues
• Draft and prepare mediation agreements and settlement documents
• Maintain detailed case notes and confidential client records
• Educate parties on the mediation process, legal options, and dispute resolution strategies
• Collaborate with attorneys, financial advisors, and other professionals as needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience in divorce, family, or civil mediation strongly preferred
• Formal mediation training or certification (e.g., Arizona Supreme Court certified mediator)
• Background in family law, social work, psychological counseling, or a related field is a plus
• Exceptional active listening, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to remain neutral, empathetic, and composed in high-emotion situations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation
• Familiarity with Arizona family law statutes and divorce proceedings preferred
