Synectics Inc. seeks an experienced Family Law Attorney to join its Phoenix team, handling diverse domestic relations matters with mentorship and opportunities for professional growth.

You will manage divorce, custody, support, and related issues, advising clients and developing case strategies while drafting pleadings and appearing at hearings. The role emphasizes collaboration with staff and ongoing professional training within a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active status with the Arizona State Bar is required.
• Strong knowledge of family law and its procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage family law matters including divorce, custody, support, and related issues.
• Advise clients, assess legal needs, develop case strategies, and provide client-focused guidance.
• Draft and argue pleadings, motions, orders, and settlement agreements.
• Manage discovery, disclosures, interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions; represent clients at hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Maintain accurate case files and stay current with Arizona family law rules.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage family law matters including divorce, legal separation, custody, parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, and related issues.
• Advise clients, assess legal needs, develop case strategies, and provide clear, client focused guidance.
• Draft and argue pleadings, motions, temporary orders, enforcement actions, post decree modifications, and settlement agreements.
• Manage discovery, disclosures, interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions; represent clients at hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Maintain accurate case files, stay current with Arizona family law and procedural rules, and collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and staff.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active, good standing membership with the Arizona State Bar.
• Strong knowledge of family law and the ability to analyze complex legal issues and apply Arizona statutes and case law.
• Experience with family law litigation, including divorce, custody, support, motions, discovery, and depositions; training is available.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy, negotiation, case management, and client communication skills.
• Strong professionalism, ethics, attention to deadlines, teamwork, and sensitivity when working with clients facing challenging family matters.
