Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations across stores in the district. This part-time role covers scheduling gaps, supervises as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy, and travels within the district to ensure staffing and patient care standards are met.

You will facilitate safe dispensing, immunizations, and clinical services while maintaining regulatory compliance and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist with training and onboarding as needed to support the district.
• Manage dispensing accuracy and patient safety across assigned pharmacies.
• Support immunizations and clinical services where permissible.
• Coach and collaborate with Pharmacy Technicians to ensure quality patient care.
