Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district, support pharmacy teams, and ensure safe and accurate dispensing. This part-time position requires active state pharmacist licensure, NPI, and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable district radius to fill pharmacist shifts as needed.
• Support pharmacy operations and patient care, including counseling and immunizations.
• Ensure safe dispensing and adherence to pharmacy workflow procedures and safety protocols.
• Act as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy when needed and help manage inventory and staffing.
• Support access to care and patient outcomes while complying with federal/state laws and CVS policies.
