CVS Health’s Omnicare division is seeking a part-time Licensed Pharmacist in Virginia to support LTC operations in Harrisonburg. The role requires the Virginia license, good standing, and willingness to obtain immunization certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in Virginia in good standing.
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain.
• Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate entry of orders.
• Maintain security of the pharmacy.
• Adhere to required delivery schedules.
• Verify orders entered by technicians for accuracy.
• Check labels and orders for completeness and precision.
• Check drug packaging and labeling accuracy.
• Prepare and supervise sterile IV products if required.
• Maintain perpetual inventory for Schedule II drugs.
• Know DEA and state laws for controlled dispensing.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage during rotation.
• Follow HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
