Zusammenfassung

BAART Programs is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to dispense prescribed medications in an outpatient treatment setting. You will work with physicians and nursing supervisors to ensure accurate dispensing and maintain inventory.

The role requires a current SD LPN license, CPR certification, and familiarity with EMR systems. Experience in chemical dependency is preferred, with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patients in treatment.

Qualifikationen

• Current LPN license in SD with good standing.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience with chemical dependency treatment and record-keeping is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Administer daily medication to patients per policy and protocols.
• Use automated dispensing systems, calibrate pumps and maintain dispensing equipment.
• Produce and maintain records and reports per company protocol and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with security standards for controlled substances per CFR and state rules.
• Order, receive and stock medication per DEA and state regulations.
• Provide daily assessment of patients.
• Assist Nursing Supervisor to orient new nursing staff.
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor.
