Job summary

BAART Programs is seeking a Per Diem Dispensing Nurse (LPN) to join a treatment team. You will dispense prescribed medications, manage dispensing equipment, and maintain accurate records under physician and nursing supervision.

Responsibilities include daily patient assessments, inventory control, and adherence to DEA/state regulations. A compassionate, non-judgmental approach to individuals in substance use disorder is essential.

Qualifications

• LPN license in NM; current and in good standing.
• CPR certification is current.
• Proficiency with EMR and general computer use.
• Experience in chemical dependency preferred.
• Successful drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Administer daily medications including Methadone and Suboxone.
• Use automated dispensing systems and calibrate pumps.
• Maintain medication inventory and records per protocol.
• Ensure security standards for controlled substances.
• Order, receive and stock medication per regulations.
• Provide daily patient assessments.
• Assist Nursing Supervisor to orient new staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
