Absolute Electrical Plumbing Heating & Air is seeking a Dispatcher to join our team in Denver. The in-office role pays $23–$25 per hour, depending on experience, with schedule Monday–Friday, 6:00pm–10:00pm.

You will coordinate technician movements, track driver schedules, and ensure the right tech for each call while communicating with clients throughout the process. Ideal candidates have dispatch experience, strong organizational skills, and a customer-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the transportation movements of the technicians.
• Track drivers’ schedules as they change throughout the day.
• Monitor technicians’ start and departure times.
• Maintain a matrix with tech routes, start location, tools and qualifications to assign calls.
• Interact with drivers daily.
• Anticipate problems with routes and parts and make quick sound decisions.
• Respond to customer requests related to jobs performed by a technician.
• Order parts for special orders.
• Maintain techs’ vacation, sick and weekend schedules.
• Forecast workload for 2–3 days out.
• Contact customers with parts pending and status of parts.

Your Contribution:As a Dispatch Coordinator at Absolute Electrical Plumbing Heating & Air you are responsible for maximizing the production of the service and sales team The individual in this role must posses strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize tasks to reach the objective. The Dispatch Coordinator is accountable for ensuring that we get the right professionals to the right calls and communicate with our clients along the way .Schedule : Monday - Friday : 6:00pm - 10:00pm

Who/What Are We Looking For?

• Coordinate the transportation movements of the technicians
• Must keep track of the drivers’ schedules as they change throughout the day
• Keep track of the technicians’ start and departure times
• Must maintain a matrix with the techs’ routes, start location, specialty tools and qualifications to be able to assign the right call to the right tech
• Requires interaction with drivers daily
• Anticipate problems with routes and parts by making quick sound decisions
• Respond to special requests from customers related to jobs performed by a technician
• Order parts for special orders
• Maintain techs’ vacation, sick and weekend schedules
• Follow up on all pending/ recommended work
• Forecast workload for 2-3 days out
• Contact customers with parts pending and status of parts

Qualifications:

• Dispatch experience required
• Rebate & Permitting experience highly preferred
