Job summary

UPS is seeking a dispatch analyst to support the dispatch and preload teams. The role involves analyzing dispatch plans, identifying opportunities, publishing reports, and conducting service audits. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with DPS/UDC knowledge and strong Microsoft Office skills.

The position is permanent and requires US work authorization. Base pay ranges from $26.25/hr to $42.65/hr, with comprehensive benefits and incentive programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent preferred.
• Dispatch Planning System (DPS) and UDC knowledge.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products or equivalent software.
• Customer-focused with strong planning and organization skills.
• Familiar with package flow technologies - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies system downloads.
• Identifies various service failures and exceptions.
• Prints and distributes multiple daily reports.
• Makes necessary report updates and communicates changes to PDS.
• Utilizes mapping tools.
• Plots previous data and compares actual dispatch to planned dispatch.
• Maintains a loop analysis to ensure periodic analysis of all loops.
• Utilizes available reports and systems.
• Completes monthly dispatch audit.

Pay Range

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $26.25/hr to $42.65/hr. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
