Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a part-time kitchen helper to support dining services and maintain high cleanliness standards.

You will wash dishes, sanitize utensils, and keep the dish room and kitchen clean according to schedules, while working in a collaborative team.

The role requires the ability to sit/stand, lift up to 40 lbs, and move about the facility with a dependable, safety-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently when needed.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk and move frequently during shifts.
• Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs and push/pull up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• perform necessary responsibility for dish and pot washing, and general cleaning duties
• wash all utensils, chinaware, eating utensils, and glassware for reset of dining room
• clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures
• clean dish room, including washing floor mats, draining and cleaning dishwasher and shining stainless steel
• sweep and mop dish room, kitchen floors, storage areas and other areas pertaining to kitchen
