Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is hiring part-time dishwashing/kitchen support with weekend shifts. You will handle dishwashing, utensil and utensil washing, and general cleaning duties in a dining/kitchen environment.

Applicants should be self-motivated, able to communicate within an interdisciplinary team, and physically capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and moving frequently. The role supports a fast-paced kitchen and contributes to resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk and move frequently during shifts.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 40 lbs.
• Comfort with routine cleaning tasks and maintaining sanitary kitchen areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish and pot washing; handle general cleaning duties.
• Wash utensils, chinaware, eating ware, and glassware for dining room resets.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen per schedules.
• Clean dish room, wash floor mats, drain and clean dishwasher; shine stainless steel.
• Sweep and mop dish room, kitchen floors, storage areas and other kitchen areas.
