Job summary

Schoolcraft College is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker – Dishwasher to support the campus dining operations. You will wash, sanitize, and store dishes, follow health guidelines, and maintain a clean kitchen area during the shift from 11am to 4:30pm.

The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, basic POS experience, and adherence to ServSafe and health code regulations. This position is onsite and offers a part-time schedule under the SCAFSE contract.

Qualifications

• Food Safety certification required or able to obtain certification.
• Able to work in a fast paced, customer service oriented atmosphere.
• Knowledge of using a point-of-sale system.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize and store all dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans and equipment.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen areas and dishwashing spaces.
• Follow Michigan Health Department guidelines for dishwashing and ServSafe protocols.
• Operate dishwashing machines safely and according to procedure manual.
• Assist with deliveries to campus buildings as contracted.
