Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services in Olivet, MI is seeking a part-time dishwasher to maintain dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen areas in a clean, sanitary condition.

The role includes varied days/hours with a pay rate of $14.50 per hour. Prior dishwashing experience is preferred but not required; duties include washing, sanitation, and assisting with food service operations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses dishes and loads them into the dishwasher or conveyor system to ensure sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays and maintains cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate methods and equipment while ensuring cleanliness.
• Maintains safe, clean work areas and surfaces per standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and mops kitchen floors to meet sanitation requirements.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas and helps handle load/unload tasks.
