Job summary

Harrys Seafood Bar & Grille in Ocala, FL is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to support kitchen cleanliness, dishwashing, pot washing, and food storage with proper rotation. You will follow sanitary procedures and assist with general cleaning to maintain a safe, sanitary kitchen in a busy casual dining setting.

Ideal candidates have high school or GED, at least 1 year in hospitality, and strong communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant.
Ability to handle multiple priorities.
Ability to stand for long period of time, lift 25 lbs, and bend, climb or work in confined spaces.
Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
Organizational and time management skills with good judgment, problem solving and decision making.

Responsibilities

The Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, storage and rotation of food and supplies.
Responsible for handling all foods, storage and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning and preparation.
