Bardessono in California is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to keep dishware, glassware, and pots clean for daily guest service. The role requires working Wednesdays and Thursdays with attention to safety, cleanliness, and teamwork.

You will follow established guidelines, maintain the dishwashing area, assist with banquet plating when needed, and help the kitchen run smoothly during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume dishwashing and kitchen sanitation.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and MSDS protocols.
• May be required to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities

• Use established guidelines to correctly operate the dish machine and wash glasses and dishes.
• Wash pots and pans in the pot washer area.
• Keep kitchen clean, sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash.
• Empty full and heavy trash cans, spray and sanitize, and place new trash bags in the container.
• Follow MSDS protocols and safety guidelines.
• Assist with plating banquet events when needed.

Hourly Pay Rate: $19.00

Wednesday & Thursdays only

What you will be doing

• Use established guidelines to correctively utilize and maintain dish machine. Wash glasses and dishes in standard dish rack.
• Wash pots and pans only in the pot washer's area.
• Ensure that all cleaning is performed that is required to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times; this includes sweeping up broken glass/dishes and mopping up any spills.
• Empty full and heavy trash cans. Make sure they are sprayed and sanitized after each use. Place new trash bags in the container after each cleaning.
• Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols, as well as Safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties in other areas of Kitchen as assigned, including assisting with plating banquet events when needed.
