Job summary

Pennington Park Church is seeking an Assistant to the Pastor of Discipleship to partner with the Pastor in equipping leaders and coordinating ministries. The role focuses on Small Groups, Adult Discipleship logistics, and providing administrative support to the Pastor of Discipleship.

Key duties include coordinating Small Group records in Planning Center, managing event registrations, calendars, budgets, and communicating with leaders, all while maintaining confidentiality and a teachable spirit

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with administrative work and project management.
• Minimum 2 years experience working in a church or Christian ministry context.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordination of Small Groups and related events.
• Oversee logistics of Adult Discipleship ministries and programs.
• Fulfill general administrative needs for the Pastor of Discipleship.
• Attend bi-weekly staff meetings and other all-staff events.
