Community Options, Inc. is hiring a Part‑Time Employment Specialist to coach individuals with developmental disabilities toward competitive employment in Allentown, PA. You will help clients develop essential job skills and support job placement with on-site coaching and resume/interview guidance.

Starting pay is $19.75 per hour. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of related work experience, and a valid driver’s license. Background checks and drug testing are required.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Two years’ full‑time experience in supporting people with disabilities preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• Employment contingent on background checks and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to help people with disabilities obtain competitive employment.
• Coach clients to develop independent job skills.
• Work with clients at job sites on-site.
• Teach skills like resume creation and interview techniques.
