Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is hiring a part-time Employment Specialist in Newtown, PA to coach individuals with developmental disabilities and prepare them for employment. Starting pay is $19.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting clients to secure competitive employment, developing job skills, preparing resumes, practicing interviews, and completing required documentation. Applicants need a high school diploma, two years of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and pass

Responsibilities

• Provide the necessary assistance for people with disabilities to be placed in competitive employment.
• Coach the person with disabilities to develop independent job skills.
• Work side-by-side with persons with disabilities at job sites.
• Reinforce essential skills, or teach new skills such as developing a resume, conducting a successful job interview, and completing a job application.
• Accurately complete all documentation.
• Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned.
• Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation
